Improvers
IMPROVERS to ADVANCED
Before Improvers move into the Advanced section, they must be able to show, “Ability” and “Competency”, in their photography.
This shall be done by a means of a portfolio of Ten (10) Prints or Digital Images.
There is no time limit or pressure put on an individual to produce their portfolio, but if the person is a keen worker, and wants to advance, then the portfolio should be produced within a MAXIMUM of 2 years.
The portfolio will be assessed by a panel of three (3) judges from the advanced section, appointed by the committee. Each image will be awarded points, 3,2 or 1, by each of the three judges.
The number of points required for an entry would be 60 for an acceptance.
The judges view would also be taken into account.
